Thanks Barry. I believe I've seen some of your posts on other forums...
The concept of Koratmap was connected to Udonmap. When I saw that interesting website, I thought it could be nice to convert my personal blog (I used to have it about China and after Thailand) into an informative website. But Udon has a potential for making a website commercial. I don't think it could work for foreigners in Korat. For me, it's a hobby. But I enjoy it. Maybe one day, it will be different!
Koratmap evolves with time, my knowledge of Internet, our members, etc. Some tasks are VERY LONG. For example, these google maps took ME hours and hours:
Korat:
www.koratmap.com/en/maps/all-placemarks.html
Buriram:
www.burirammap.com/en/maps.html
Ubon Ratchatani:
www.ubonmap.com/en/maps.html
Roiet:

I should spend more time writing about Law...
Today, you might see nothing new on Koratmap, but I posted that article on the bridge on the river Kwai:

These pictures were taken by my wife a month ago. I took pictures in Rayong 2 months ago but still haven't used them. It's quick to write a post on a forum but long to upload pictures, make links, etc.
Yesterday, I worked on Phanom Rung, using 360 images from a Thai man that I met 2 years ago:

I wrote a week ago (more or less) on Ta Bian Ban

Last month, we posted more than 30 articles on
www.burirammap.com
There are other forums in Korat or Thailand. I would like this one to be something more interactive, and connected with Thais AND foreigners. Youtube embedded videos are one example.
About 80% of our readers live in Thailand. I can see that many are using google translation with our statistics. I estimated that we have 50-50% Thais and foreigners reading Koratmap. Thais readers are raising quickly.
I'm very glad when I receive some feedback, and we are open to suggestions too!
KoratMap.
